As Ellen grew sleepy and the time for Trick-or-Treating drew to a close, Amanda detoured by the cemetary. They had spent countless hours here over the last two years, the old wrought iron bench becoming as comfortable and familiar as a living room sofa. It would be a good place to rest for a few minutes. Amanda pulled Ellen into her lap then closed her eyes and leaned her head back, remembering reading of old traditions surrounding All Hallows Eve. A powerful night, when the veil between this world and the Otherworld thins. If only.....
