Notes from the Underground: The Finished Cover

The Concept:
Dogbowl Records asked me to create a cover for a compilation CD titled "Notes from the Underground." I submitted 5 designs, and the above image is the final design as it appeared on the CD. The idea for this picture actually came from a dream about a huge house with a lot of hidden rooms and secret passageways. A career in music has to start somewhere, so why not a maintenence closet tucked under the stairs of a cellar?
