The Story:
Tally slips inside Miller's General Store with hopes of shedding her performance outfit for something comfortable and down to earth. The store didn't have much in the way of selection, but jeans and a tank top were a perfect choice. As Tally tries on a pair of gym shoes, she couldn't resist peeking through the dressing room curtain at the fellow who just walked in. He had welcomed her to town as she passed him on the store porch, shaking her hand and introducing himself as Jake Grissom. He didn't appear to recognize her; his calm, steady voice made him seem the type to welcome any and all who ventured to stop in this small town. Something about that appealed to Tally and she began to wonder if this might not be a place to stay.
